How to Prepare

Tips to prepare for various workshop segments

Warm-Up

The warm-up for the in-person event involves movement and dance. So please arrive early to check your bags and wear shoes and clothing that you feel comfortable moving in.

Lightning Talk #1 with Holly Richmond

A question to ask yourself: When in your life have you experienced a personal resurrection? How did you know?

SAR Taster with Sara Nasserzadeh

A brief note from Sara regarding the SAR taster session: You are going to experience a taster of a SAR experience (Sexual Attitude Reassessment). SAR is a minimum of two days, a process-oriented, structured group experience to promote your awareness of your attitudes and values related to sexuality, and to assist you in understanding how these attitudes and values affect you professionally and personally. SAR is a physical, physiological, intellectual, and emotional experience. It focuses on your Being rather than Doing. You will not BE the same person after a taste of SAR! In our time together, you will be invited to join the cycle of life in giving and receiving pleasure.

To enhance your experience, I would like you to think of a symbol or an object that would embody your inner desire. When you are thinking of the symbol, think of your five senses. It could be an image, a scent, sound, taste, etc. Something that connects you with that spark of life within you, a sense of being alive, joie de vivre. You can bring the object/symbol with you to the event or just have it fresh in your mind as we will go through our experiential together on the day.

Panelists: Dalychiah Saah and Rafaella Fiallo

Questions to ask yourself:

  1. What is the one thing in your life that you said “No” to, that you wish you could have said “Yes” to?
  2. What is the one thing in your life that you said “Yes” to, that you wanted to say “No” to?

Q&A

Please note that the main Q+A is at the end of the day. We will take questions live and via a post-it exercise that will be described at the event. Please make sure to write your questions as you go; they might also make good conversation starters!
